Entertainment & Music - 8 March 2007

A woman went to her doctor. The doctor, after an examination, sighed and said,

"I've some bad news. You have cancer, you'd best put your affairs in order. "

The woman was shocked, but managed to compose herself
and walk into the waiting room where her daughter had been waiting.

"Well daughter, we women celebrate when things are good, & we celebrate when things aren't. In this case, things aren't. I have cancer. Let's head to the club and have a martini."

After 3 or 4 martinis, the two were feeling a little less somber. There were some laughs and more martinis. They were eventually approached by some of the woman's old friends, who were curious as to what the two were celebrating.

The woman told her friends they were drinking to her impending end.

"I have been diagnosed with AIDS."

The friends gave the woman their condolences, and they had a couple of more martinis.

Get over it! Yahoo owns this service and has a decent set of Guidelines WE ALL must follow.

Ever wonder what Y/A is doing with all that info?

they collect from your questions and answers ? I mean some of you have thousands of them and I know you never go back to look at them (or anyone else for that matter) but they keep them all...

Do you think they are building some type of weird personality database linked back to your root identity ? If not, why keep all that stuff...is disk space really that cheap ?

How does one prevent power struggles?

That sometimes happen, especially if everytime there is an important discussion and one wants to overide the other... sometimes compromise just goes out the window when you become frustrated with not getting your point across..... so how does one deal with this?

Why is the show called unsolved mysteries? if they were solved they wouldn't be mysteries.

Do Penguins have knees?

Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?

Why do parents fuss over simple things like...?

You not cleaning your room.. or taking out the trash.. or little stuff? When things could be so much worse. I think sometimes they don't realize how good they have it sometimes because they could have those bad kids out there that blatantly disrespect them in front of their faces, call them names.. and do terrible things behind their backs.
