FYI I'm in middle school. The topic is writing about seeing something you love for the very last time, and being taken away to a horrible place. Also, please let me know if you think I need punctuation in it. Here it goes:

The Outdoors

This has bugged me for many years, I hope someone knows it. When I was little we girls used to sing this little song/rhyme while we ran our fingers back and forth on our friends' forearm softly sorta tickling it, all I remember about the song is I'm pretty sure it ended with "Chinese, Japanese Indian Chief!" I think that was the very last line and when you say "Chief!" you do something like stop stroking the arm and give it a pinch or something right in the bend of the arm behind the elbow. I think the rhyme is about different occupations but I'm not positive. Maybe that's why it says Chinese Japanese Indian Chief. I have tried for so many years to remember it, I hope someone out there knows it. I think it may have been sang for when girls are doing their patty cake thing with their hands, I'm not sure what else you call that besides "patty-cake". Also I'm sure kids sang it while jump-roping. Please help me find this song so it won't bug me anymore and I can teach it to my daughter.

George Phillips of Grand Falls, Newfoundland, was going up to bed when his wife told him that he had left the light on in the garden shed which she could see from their bedroom window.

George proceeded to the back door to go outside to turn the light off but immediately saw that there were people in the shed and they were stealing things. He immediately telephoned the police and told them that there were burglars in his shed. The officer asked, "Is there a burglar in your house?" George replied, "No." The officer then said that all the patrols were busy and that he George) should simply lock his door and an officer would be along when available.

George said ok and hung up the phone. He counted to 30 and phoned the police again. "Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were burglars in my shed. Well, you don't have to worry about them now because I've just shot them all." And he hung up. Within five minutes, three police cars, an Armed Response Unit, and an ambulance showed up at the Phillips' residence.

Of course, the police caught the burglars red-handed. One of the policemen said to George, "I thought you said that you'd shot them!" George replied, "I thought you said there was no one available!"

I was wondering since Stern supposedly had Smith's best interest at heart but never had an intervention for her or even her son for that matter....(instead he's taking videos of her in clown makeup), could Anna's mother sue him for wrongful death?

should be when she starts going to the movies with her boyfriend alone? I ask because I have a 13 yr. old daughter who is asking if her and her boyfriend can go to the movies without me and my husband. I say I want to go with them for a while to observe them together and to get to know this boy.. She isn't pushing the issue and she's being really mature about asking me. But I just want some opinions from others on what an acceptable age would be. My parents let me go to my boyfriends house at that age, but I ended up getting pregnant at 16 maybe that's where my fear comes from.
