no, your sun sign is what time you were born
but you should take into account your moon and rising signs also
The Sun Sign is what most people know without a doubt. It is also (usually) the most obvious part of the personality. The Sun is the conscious self. It is the behaviour one is most comfortable with. It is the every day, fair-weather self. But there is much more to you than your Sun Sign....
when emotions run high....
That's when the Moon Sign comes out. We generally react in emotional situations according to the Moon Sign. This is the primal, subconscious self. You may even fantasize about behaving more like that sign, but it may not feel natural to you unless you're filled with happiness or sadness or anger. The Moon Sign also comes out when you feel very safe - either by yourself or with people you trust.
But what about...
The Rising Sign? This is the most difficult element of the chart to explain, but may be even more important than the Sun Sign. In a nutshell, it is the Higher Self. You came into this life with one of the 12 signs of the zodiac on the horizon. This sign represents your horizon - your aspirations, what you look for in the world, and what you want to reflect. It is not surprising that much of your outward appearance, or the way you present yourself to others is determined by the Rising Sign, (and also by any planets that were rising when you were born - the Sun, Moon and planets rule the Zodiac - so a person with Venus rising is much like a Libra or Taurus rising, and Moon rising is just like Cancer rising, etc.) We want to attract and bring into our lives that which we aspire to. A Libra rising person looks for beauty, equality and comfort - and his/her natural beauty and charm are helpful in bringing it. An Aries rising individual looks for excitement and new challenges. Her/his look of bold determination and fearlessness is conducive to finding it!

This doesn't have any effect on you. Just because you were late doesn't mean that you were supposed to be another sign. Did it ever occur to you that you were supposed to be the sign you are now, and that you were late for a reason??? Everything happens as it should. I was born about 2 weeks late, and I'm still a Sagittarius. Be happy with the sign you have, and remember it has no effect on you and it never will.

I used to take that pill before understanding that I was really putting someone else life in my own hands. Read Proverbs 6:16-19 and Psalms 106:37-38. There are many other scriptures that you can read. I myself would never take that pill again especially knowing what I know now. I hope you understand where I'm coming from. Blessing,

You werent born "late".
You were born when you were born.
That was the "right" time, for which there was no other time.
You werent "supposed" to be anything. However, your question reveals a distorted and confused effort to become something else, or be someone else, or do something else, other than what you are, who you are, where you are, and when you are.
The sooner you give up the conversation about "this-was/is-supposed-to-be-this-way" and "this-was/is-supposed-to-be-that-way", the sooner you will take up your current life's journey into the unknown, but NOT unknowable, future.

NOPE... YOU WERE EXPECTED BY DOCTORS TO ARRIVE AS A PICIES, WHEN NATURALLY YOU WERE BORN AS AN ARIES. AND BE HAPPY! YOU SHOULD WANT TO BE AN ARIES, THE FIRST SIGN OF THE ZODIAC! THEY ARE THE MOST POWER FULL SIGNS OF ALL THE ZODIAC AND THEY ARE NATURAL BORN LEADERS. THOUGH THEY CAN SOMETIMES BE SELFISH, THEY ARE THE BEST PARENTS OUT OF THE ZODIACS AND HAVE THE HIGHEST SEX DRIVE... SO YOU'LL BE ABLE TO KEEP UR MAN HAPPY! LOL! I'M AN ARIES TO! GO ARIES!!!

I was born late as well (2 weeks), and wondered that same question myself for a second; but concluded that I was born when I was born for a reason (if this makes any sense!). So I believe your signs (sun, moon & rising) definitely apply to your actual birthdate and birthtime.

Not to worry, the Universe respects your actual date of birth. THere's no way of knowing exactly what your projected ETA would have been anyway.

Absolutely nothing. We choose what time is best for us to be born to fulfill our destiny. Could a, shoulda, doesn't matter. What matters is when did you choose to be born. Nobody is born early or late. You are born when you choose to be, what is best for you and your destiny.

Your sign never lies . You are what you are and there is no changing or influence to it . The doctor's estimate was wrong for whatever reason .
