I'm trying to find a gift for a friend, and he really likes this show that was on within the past few years. All I can remember is that it was set back in the old west, and plot-wise is kinda like CSI where the sheriff(?) investigates various happenings.

In the story, he ends up being devoured. How could we keep that from happening to the next batch?

It was in one of the Secret Policeman's Balls (not the first or the 2006 one) and he is an old-fashioned schoolmaster, in robes with a clipboard and he just calls out a list of names- including nibble and orrifice- it was hilarious but can't find it anywhere!

Thanks for your help!

Publisher Behind O.J. Simpson Book Fired
Dec 16, 3:26 AM EST

Extra! Extra! The press release arrived with a headline worthy of Rupert Murdoch: HARPERCOLLINS TERMINATES JUDITH REGAN. So ended, at least for now, one of the book world's most profitable and provocative careers.

Regan, O.J. Simpson's would-be publisher, has been fired, her sensational tenure at the Murdoch-owned HarperCollins finished off with the tersest of announcements.

"Judith Regan's employment with HarperCollins has been terminated effective immediately," HarperCollins CEO Jane Friedman said in a statement late Friday. "The REGAN publishing program and staff will continue as part of the HarperCollins General Books Group."

Friedman offered no reason for the decision or details of any kind. But her statement comes just weeks after Murdoch's cancellation of Simpson's hypothetical murder confession, "If I Did It,"

I think she deserved it, how crass she is.
