Hey guys...I'm from India...Burma was renamed Myanmar and is India's neighboring country.Its currently under military dictatorship just like Pakistan and I wouldn't recommend you visiting the country.Lot of refugees coming over to my country from there carrying horrible stories of genocide. stay out of there.....

Been there, it borders Thailand and I think Laos, a relatively poor country. When I was there the people were repressed by the govt. and we needed special permission just to enter, an armed escort everywhere we went, it is a beautiful land, tropical forests, steep mountains, very rugged. I'm not sure if it's the same now or not, been 20yrs. that I was there.
