Depends on their age, my 20 yr old has it but not my 11 year old...

of course! why shouldn't they? why would internet be a bad thing for a child? it helps him understanding things, he can develop his interests, ...
why? what are you afraid of? that they won't do their homework or watch porn? well, even if they ain't got internet, if they don't wanna do their homework they won't do it. it's your job as a parent to make sure they did it every night. as for the porn, who cares, after all, normal people watch porn on the net, and it is everywhere.
Now, I can't think of another good reason to not allow children to have a pc with internet...

Absolutely not unless there is serious parental controls in place. Our family computer is in the family room downstairs. They have 1 hour a day.

yes they should, i've been bugging my parents for 2 years and 9 months now and no can do.... you'd be a great parent (or whatever you are) if you let your children have internet in their room..... they would adore you - take my advice, you won't regret it.

Absolutely NOT. They need to be in a place in the house where everything they do on here can be monitored. And they MUST give you their password.

Internet, no way. To many pervs on-line who would take advantage of them.
