“Oh my” I cried “I’m late for school! I asked mom to wake me up at 7:00 but I woke up at 9:00! I went downstairs to the kitchen and you know what I saw? I saw my dad’s favorite bowl full of cereal, flipped over. My mom’s coffee spilled on the kitchen floor. I cleaned up the kitchen floor all by myself I went back upstairs to check my parent’s room, but they weren’t there only my sleepy dog summer. I went in the garage to see their car was there. Guess what I saw their car .I was getting worried .I sat down on my couch and thought .I thought about the attic , because they always hang out there .They weren’t there .I got sick and tired of it so I went in my backyard , because they might be talking about how I’m doing in school. I didn’t see them .So I sat on the floor outside and cried .I went to go get my dog, summer. We went to their work to see if they were there I saw a box so I looked in it and it sucked me in to a prehistoric time s with cave man . They were being sacrificed in the volcano .Guess what? I opened my eyes and I was in my room with my pajamas on and it was only 6:30 am . When I went to school I told my friends all about it and they thought I was creepy.

According to today's regulators and bureaucrats, those of us who were kids
in the 60's, 70's and early 80's probably shouldn't have survived....

Because our baby cots were covered with brightly coloured lead-based paint
which was promptly chewed and licked.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, or latches on doors or
cabinets and it was fine to play with pans.

When we rode our bikes, we wore no helmets, just flip-flops and
fluorescent 'spokey dokey's' on our wheels.

As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or airbags - riding
in the passenger seat was a treat.

We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle and it tasted
the same.

We ate chips, bread and butter pudding and drank fizzy juice with sugar in
it, but we were never overweight because we were always outside playing.

We shared one drink with four friends, from one bottle or can and no-one
actually died from this.

We would spend hours building go-carts out of scraps and then went top
speed down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes.

After running into stinging nettles a few times, we learned to solve the
problem.

We would leave home in the morning and could play all day, as long as we
were back before it got dark. No one was able to reach us and no one
minded.

We did not have Play stations or X-Boxes, no video games at all.

No 99 channels on TV, no videotape movies, no surround sound, no mobile
phones, no personal computers, no DVDs, no Internet chat rooms.

We had friends - we went outside and found them.

We played elastics and rounders, and sometimes that ball really hurt!

We fell out of trees, got cut, and broke bones but there were no law suits.

We had full on fist fights but no prosecution followed from other parents.

We played knock-the-door-run-away and were actually afraid of the owners
catching us.

We walked to friends' homes.

We also, believe it or not, WALKED to school; we didn't rely on mummy or
daddy to drive us to school, which was just round the corner.

We made up games with sticks and tennis balls.

We rode bikes in packs of 7 and wore our coats by only the hood.

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke a law was unheard of...they
actually sided with the law.

This generation has produced some of the best risk-takers and problem
solvers and inventors, ever. The past 50 years have been an explosion of
innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and
responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all, those of us who
have had the luck to grow as real kids, before lawyers and government
regulated our lives, for our own good.

The majority of students in universities today were born in
1986........they are called youth.

They have never heard of We are the World, We are the Children, and the
Uptown Girl they know is by Westlife not Billy Joel. They have never heard
of Rick Astley, Bananarama, Nena Cherry or Belinda Carlisle.

To them John Travolta has always been round in shape and they can't imagine
how this fat guy could be a god of dance. They believe that Charlie's Angels
and Mission Impossible are films from last year.

They can never imagine life before computers. They'll never have pretended
to be the A-Team, Red Hand Gang or The Famous Five. They'll never have
applied to be on Jim'll Fix It or Why Don't You?

They can't believe a black and white television ever existed. And they will
never understand how we could leave the house without a mobile phone.

For them, there has always been only one Germany and one Vietnam.

And Michael Jackson has always been white

Nations of the World,

I thee for state to resume myself that Iamadoofus….being of unsound mind and body and therefore state the rights that I have foolishly placed upon myself. I shall now recite the new and refurbished motto of my established country, state and other various territories. “I pledge allegiance to queen fragg, and her mighty state of hysteria and to her republic for which is fat…one butt underdesk with unliberty and non justice for none. Let These Words Ring Forever True Across the Sea and its Nations that the United States of I Rule shall now and forever been ruled and reigned by Me as myself and henceforth will be treated as such.” To start with my new crowning glory I shall now recite the Rules, Laws and Specifications of the United States of I Rule.

1) She is icky...like turds.
2) She reminds me of that annoying neighbor who is always trying to give everyone fruitcake for the holidays (Why, Why, Why do people still make that crap? No one likes it...no...nobody does...).
3) Her speaking voice reminds me of an German Shepard wearing ice skates on a chalkboard.
4) Her singing voice is flat...seriously, I heard a concert recording recently, and the woman was almost a 1/4 step flat.
5) She is obnoxious and loud.
6) She is a terrible actress and her movies are 3.7 steps below the quality of those on the lifetime channel...Come on? "For The Boys"? It's more pathetic than Kanye West bitching about the fact his stupid video didn't win an award...and she didn't even spend a bazillion dollars and get to fly over a canyon...LAME!!!
7) She is pastey.
8) That song about the eagles, wings, and flying and stuff makes me want to punch a baby...I would never do such a thing, but it sucks...a lot.

Does she annoy you too?

To love someone so much but not want to be with them?

Kind of rhetorical since that's the way i feel so it's obviously possible!

Why did they not all think of these campaigns in the 70's and 80's, when we could have done some good? Apparently we can save our planet, but is it not a crime to not address an issue until it can benefit you? Why do celebrities act as if they are experts on these problems, yet they have other people ask the questions they post?
If they weren't celebrities, would anyone listen?
