I personally would find this difficult. I can only imagine that one's own fears would cause one to not want to be with someone they love so much.

Yes, I think it is entirely possible. There are all kinds of possible reasons why a person would not want to be with who they love.

Of course it is possible (even though you said yourself that you already know the answer). When you love someone, you want what's best for that person. Maybe you feel that you can't give him/her what he/she needs to be happy so you want to distance yourself from him/her. Another explanation could be that your love for that person has changed and you no longer feel the same way about them as they feel about you. Of course, every relationship has ups and downs, and feelings change often. It could just be a temporary phase. Best of luck. :-)

If you mean that you have all of the depth of feeling but know that it can't work in reality, then yes, I've actually been there.
The love was real, but so were the practical realities that made an ongoing relationship impossible. I loved her, but I couldn't stand being with her.

Yes. You can love someone, but not want to be around them. A perfect example is parents and children while children are in their teens.

It is possible. They just want the person who they love to be happy and that's enough for them.

No. I can't love someone so much & not want to be with them. It is not possible with me. I want to be with them. I have to be with them & if I can't, it is because they SAID so, not me.
And don't ever forget this one......Actions do speak louder than words. They really do.

Yes... especially if that person is not good for you. My mom would say that about my father... "I loved him when I left him, but I still had to leave."
