I am doing a project for school, and I am making a slideshow. The project is over animal testing, and I am doing it on why we shouldn't test on animals. So am going to like show pictures of animals and so I need a song that will really make people cry, to show that we shouldn't. It’s a persuasive speech on why, so I really have to convince the people on why. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I got a lot of great advice on here about how to learn to play chords, and in the past two weeks or so I've learned to play 4 chords pretty well! THANK YOU!!

Now my new question:
When I'm practicing my chords and playing little songs, I'm strumming down with my right thumb. When I try to strum up to play the same note (strumming with my thumb up and down), it sounds really awful. Any hints?

The most helpful info last time was about how to practice and how to position my hands. I'm trying to learn from a book, so it's helpful to talk to people about it.

looking for some new bands to listen to...i like pretty much everything except the dance/techno and rap side of things.
i'm looking for bands that are in the same genres as 30 seconds to mars, him, nightwish, linkin park, matchbox 20, wolfmother.
most of the music that is in the charts right now is too teeny bopper and rap...

hope someone has some good ideas...
