The Texas Chainsaw Massacre just came on Spike TV right now. I normally don't watch horror movies, especially by myself...but I thought i'd give it a go, since the beginning has already caught my attention. So, I was wondering how scary the movie actually is? It's the one with Jessica Biel.

If you like a good scare every now and then, it's okay. It's not too scary though. on a scale of 1-10 its a 3. 10 would be too scary for even me.

I only saw the original version, but I can honestly say it totally scared me. I think what made it even scarier was that it is based on an actual true story!!!! It was too much for me to handle, and I had to turn it off.
If you like scary movies, this will be one for you!

I have only seen the original, not the remake.
It is not really horror but more so a slasher type gross out. It does have a lot of suspense and can be very disturbing. Apparently it is based on a true story.

Scary movies bore me to death. I've never seen a movie that actually scares me. Essentially, I'm nothing like you, so I wouldn't have a problem watching it by myself. My answer: No movie is even remotely scary.

It's so lame and watching the edited version is nothing compared to the theatre.

not scary. funny, the typical horror movie with people falling and screaming and acting dumb.
