The ratings are through the roof, I doubt it will be cancelled for several years. I actually am a long time comic book fan, and previews of this show didn't thrill me, but I heard some good things about it and decided to check it out from the begining when the Sci-Fi channel picked it up in syndication (catch a marathon there if you need to catch-up). I was very surprised. It is well written, and the acting is above average as well. The only criticism I have is that the network could do a much better job of marketing this thing. "Save the Cheerleader...save the world" isn't hooking anyone not already watching. If they want new viewers, try showing off some of those special effects or something. It's not what keeps me watching, but it might just keep people to tune in and then get hooked by the intriguing plot twists.

"Heroes" is IMO the best show this fall and the ratings prove that almost as fact. I love that every episode has important information and doesn't keep the audience waiting yet still manages to keep them in suspense. The most interesting characters, I think, are Peter, Hiro, and HRG (Mr. Bennett). HRG is particularly interesting because we don't know for sure whose side he's on and because he's so shrouded in mystery.

I think its great. And there isn't a darn thing on TV worth watching most nights. The cast are cute, personable, the boy/girl next door. I think It'll run for some time unless the big shots get stupid and take it off the air.

Heroes is the best show on basic television. Great plot, twists, good characters played by relatively unfamiliar faces . . . all that good stuff.

well its a very weired show to me, i watch it but only to kill time. the thing that separates this show from other heroes is that there are no villains, and no one wares costumes, and some of there powers kind of suck like the blond girl with the double personality,

Great show...but it always ends with a "to be continued" and you never REALLY learn the whole story behind the characters.Still a good show.
