OK. Lemme elaborate. I'm trying to play the riff to "The Hand That Feeds" by nine inch nails. getting better; it's pretty fast though. but that's beside the point.

Um, the song requires me to hole down the 3rd fret on the 6th string and then the 5th fret on the on the 5th string. and then you shift that combo up and down a few times.

as you know, that's a pretty wide gap for your 1st and 3rd fingers. I've found it easier to use my pinky instead of the 3rd finger. It works, so I can't complain. But I need to know whether is acceptable in terms of "properly playing the guitar".

I've only been playing for a week or 2 now. should I try to position my hand better so it becomes easier. cuz i've tried, and it doesn't seem to work that way. lol. any suggestions?

May someone explain me the movie "The life of David Gale"?

Am I a stupid or what? I didn't get a thing about the movie played by kevin spacey and kate winslet in which she found out that he really wasn't a murder but then he was..? Also the money sent to his wife where it came from? And his lawyer was a part of it or not? Anybody would explain it to me please? I'll appreciate it.

What holiday commercials do you love/hate so far?

I like the Petco ones, with the dog and cat in the box, and the Kodak ones, which I always cry at. I can't stand the Lexus with the bows and the people walkig around it.
