No, they're whiners that junior high teenyboppers can squeal along to as their grimacing chaffeur (AKA Mom) ferries them from Gym Practice to The Mall.

I have often wondered that.. about them being real punks. I think they are to an extent, but Benji's eye makeup seems like an attention things.

I just read that the lead singer, Joel, and his girlfriend of 2 years (HIllary Duff) broke up.. they're supposivley working on a new album due out in march. So I don't see them breaking up anytime soon. Maybe in a few years.

Good Charlotte may have started as punks, now their just Sellouts i hope they do breakup even though i do like some of their songs its to mainstream now

I dunno... They're music's really nice though... They're first album (Young and the Hopeless) was more punk rockinsh, the second (Chronicles of life and Death) was more emoish mixed with punkrock.... the new album... I've only heard one sound... it sounds pretty punk to me... GC is a really good band... Their drummer's amazing...

I don't see them breaking up til around 2009....
