He should have to go to rehab...he is going through major withdrawal right now...and doesn't even make sense...his buddy is going to roll on him, if the young, blonde doctor doesn't beat him to it...It will be interesting to see what happens...the show freaked me out last night! The poor little girl, I know it wasn't real but I was on the edge of my darn seat!

As only an occasional viewer but moderate fan of the show. I have no real clue,,, BUT I do know this much about that medium.
At some point the writers will not be able to create a story line more intriguing and exciting than any "previously on House" episode. Unless they begin to scale back or go in different directions, and humanize the character a bit more,,, Without turning the show into a soap opera,,, House will go the way of the Sopranos. Of course there may be a time line for a final season already?
Certainly in humanizing him and others, without getting into social lives and habits, they might cause HIM to fail more often,,, although that might taint the fan base?
I suspect too, that as the main character he may have a large measure of "say so" with regard to scripts, and if he has to enter "rehab"??? as you suggest, I can't imagine him suddenly becoming a "non entity" in the real premise of the show,,, which seems to be a bit of a GOD character infused into each story line.
With no offense to the show and certainly none to you or other fans,,, I think far too many of the episodes eventually get to a scene where 3 or 4 people are standing around, kind of shrugging their shoulders, each saying "Um I dunno, whadda you think?" and eventually DOC arrives at the answer, which in most cases has turned into the miracle the ends the episode.
If in fact the diseases or disorders are "real" I enjoy the show more for that than the characterizations, and might even learn something.

I think House will finally be forced into rehab. I can't believe the witch hunt the cop is on. I'm surprised nobody at the hospital, especially Cuddy, has complained to the cop's superiors. I find it hard to believe they would condone this guy's vendetta against House. They haven't questioned why their assets are frozen, etc. I can understand Wilson's because of the stolen scripts, but why would any of the other's assets really be legally frozen? It doesn't make much sense.
It'll be interesting to see what unfolds. I don't want to wait two weeks!

He is not out of control. He is out of pain pills. Bottom line, he should be dead. The pain should have killed him five years ago. He is suffering from necrotic poisons being pumped through his blood stream, the result of idiot doctors misdiagnosing and mistreating the anheurism in his thigh five years ago. They wanted to chop off the leg the same way he wanted to chop off that girls arm and leg. he didn't let them. He had them remove the clot and that sent the poisons through his entire body. To complicate things His meical proxy and Cuddy unilaterally operated on him giving him the limp everyone keeps asking about. They removed some of the dead muscle while he was in a chemically induced coma.
Back to your question. He is still not stupid. Any lawyer worth his pay check can take the actions of Tritter to a judge and show that he coerced Wilson into changing his testimony. If I were House, I would accept the arrest and force the state to medicate him. Before long it would be apparent to the state that his medical history is a case of critical pain, not just chronic pain. In such a case six pills a day is not uncommon. It will not kill him and given his condition it will not drastically impar his motor functions. Of course they may want to take away his surgical privileges and his prescription privileges. If they do then he can not remain head of diagnostic medicine for accreditation purposes. Really, the hospital lawyers should have stepped in by now and handled this as a malpractice suit. tritter should be riding a desk some where for pushing a matter that has already been ajudicated. And House's pills should have been returned to him by now.
From the preview you can see one thing is for certain, House is going to go through detox and a patient may die because of it. The little girl almost did. Chase got hit in the face because of it. Cuddy got hurt because of it. His pain is very real and very overwhelming. The way I see it Tritter is practicing medicine without a license and Cuddy, Wilson and the rest of them should have had him arrested for false arrest and criminal harrassment, not to mention practicing medicine without a license.

He just might be forced into rehab. He is an *** ,but he is a really good at what he does. Sometimes I wish real doctors where just as blunt. It would probably change how people act.

Shame to say, but I didn't even watch last night. As much as I love House, and am willing to put up with his obnoxiousness, he has taken it to whole new levels. I'm afraid he's become as neurotic as Monk; he never had people skills in the first place, but lately, he doesn't even have the skill to deal with himself as a person. Someone let me know when he comes back to the House I used to know and love.

If he isn't forced into rehab, he needs his license revoked! Would you really want him doctoring you? As much as I like him, I wouldn't want him diagnosing my problems, with all of the problems he has!

I hope so. He's really lost it. I feel bad for him (even though he is an a$$) --- he reminds me of myself before I was forced to rehab!
