I subscribed DirecTV about a year ago. I have been on an extended vacation in Australia since Feb. this year, and will not be returning to the States until at least January or Feb. of 2007. I have been emailing DirecTV requesting to discontinue all of my services with DirecTV repeatedly, and all I got was emails telling me that there are "guidelines" that needed to follow, and that a representative would call me and discuss the issues with me. I gave them my telephone number (and postal address) here in Australia, but nobody ever contacted me. Initially, I planned on staying in Australia for only three months, and then later I changed my mind and decided to stay here for at least one whole year. Base on past experience with DirecTV, if I call them, they would put me on hold for a very long period of time, and I cannot afford an expensive telephone bill. Who should I complain to about this???

I just saw CSI: Miami from the first season. And Kim Delaney just left the show because of her husbands death, but in the end Horatio looks at a picture of his dead brother, so i got confused. I'm going to London from Canada in December to see George Michael perform at Wembley Arena. The last time I went it was 15 yrs ago and I was 18. It was to see him at the same venue. I went to 3 GM shows there in 1 week. Yes I'm a huge fan!

I am worried about travelling alone. How will I be able to afford a hotel if I am not splitting the cost with anyone? Also worried about the latest threats. Youth hostels aren't an option for me so I want to find a cheap but safe hotel. Also what will I do there alone? Does anyone want to share a hotel room so the costs would be cheaper? I am going for a week. Have tickets to 2 concerts and plan to find tickets to a 3rd show when I am there. I have been to London before, as I said, and that time was by myself too but I found it really lonely. Plus, right now the only way I can afford the trip is if I find a cheap hotel or can split a double occupancy room with someone!
