Is there a reason why I spend 99 cents a song to buy music with itunes when I could be getting songs for free from limewire.com? (Besides supporting the artists...)
Does Limewire make money by leaving cookies on your computer to get information on you to sell?

there's a reason you're paying 99c per song. firstly you're guaranteed a safe download - no foreign viruses. with limewire you always run a risk of accidently downloading a virus (some that even anti-virus software can't handle) this is because limewire is basically a big arena for everyone to put their music out there for anyone to download. anyone could be putting anything under a songs name and you'll never know until you download it.
secondly you often get a better quality sound with itunes aswell

You always know what you're getting when you buy something off of iTunes. Anyone can upload music onto limewire. The quality of the music isn't as good, and you never know what might be attached to it.
Plus, you're doing it the legal way.
And just fyi, you end up getting a better deal on iTunes if you buy the whole album, it costs much less than buying them at music stores.

Don't buy into the hype. Get a good anti-virus/firewall package & you'll be OK. I'd also recommend PC Guardian to block those who try to access your PC.

Install Limewire & go for it !
