Half of the questions on this category have to do with Miley Cyrus and that whole show. I'm not dissing the show, I'll watch it if there's nothing else on, but why is everyone so obsessed? Is there anyone else out there that does not understand this?

when listening to Gary Lewis and the Playboys I've noticed that they do alot of covers, were they a cover band or did they not know how to write their own music, i think they maybe 4 or 5 original songs but thats it, i'm just curious. Any jerk off answers will be reported.

I used to play an album by this band DJing in college. The album was called Genocide World, by the band North, or vice-versa. It was kind of industrial/progressive metal, with a vocalist who reminds me a bit of Pain Of Salvation's lead singer. A few of the song titles from the album were Genocide World [title track], Listening Aid, and Veterans Day [this being a more mellow rock piece - no industrial tone here].

I have been searching the internet for any trace of their existence for years, and haven't been able to find anything. I suspect they might have been from the Chicago area, if my memory serves me correctly.

I sound like a kid about this problem, but okay, Im not stupid in any way and i am very far in my career and went all the way in school but i cant stop talking like a valley girl. Its not real bad. I have excellent grammer and talk in a professional way, but I cant get the valley girl voice out. (its not that bad. I get annoyed with people who go overboard) But you can tell when i talk a little. I say, 'like' a lot and 'oh my god..' And my voice kind of does that up and down thing when telling a story. Its just the area i grew up in. Everyone was so excited, energetic and very sweet. All my friends make fun of me and laugh. Its funny, I laugh too, but it really bothers me. I try sooo very hard to not talk like that and practice but it just fades right into my accent. I guess it the saying You can take the girl out of the Valley, but you cant take the valley out of the girl. Well, you really CANT! Any suggestions?
