I also have another question. I want to be a disney channel star but I dont think that I can afford a talent agent. How do I do that? And im also embarressed to tell my parents that I want to be an actress.

Nothing! If an agency is asking 4 money up front, IT'S A SCAM!!!
Ur parents are interested in u, so don't be embarrassed to share your dreams with them!!!! Go 4 it! Good Luck! ;-)

No legitimate talent agent will ever charge you a dime, unless they actually get you work.

To get an agent, you'll have to audition, probably for several agencies. Eventually (within the first month of your first acting job) you will probably have to join a union...union dues are expensive, but any decent work will at least cover the cost of union initiation.

If a talent agent says, "You have to pay us x dollars for us to put you in our agency" then tell them to go suck eggs. They won't get you an ounce of work after you pay them, because they aren't legit agents.
