...cause the written word (Pen) it's lasting..can reach many with the pen..and for many years to come..
...can only take someone down one at a time with the sword...

actions speak louder than words to people who are immediately surrounding you.
the pen is mightier than the sword because it is far reaching and lasts longer

because the action of writing a letter might get something done much faster than yelling at someone in person
that or noone sees the pen when u stab them but a sword is obivious

a sword is strong but it get you one time and those that know are those that are there but with the pen, documented things reach and influence people who were not even born yet.

well duh u cant erase a pen with a sword only white out does that lol no seriously the pen(or writing untensil) has been the vehicle that has transported the stories of the sword to us. with out historians all the great conquest form all the great leaders in history wouldnt exist!
