I have seen on tv and heard stories about ghosts befriending children. In some cases being their imaginary friend. Have you ever known a child who had an imaginary friend & swore they were real?

When a friend of mine was about 14yo, and her cousin was about 3yo, her grandmother died. They had to travel to go to the funeral. I don't remember how far away it was, but they didn't go back to the cemetery for a few years. When they got home her 3yo cousin had an imaginary friend named Fat Harris. She talked about Fat Harris a lot. They played together everyday. One day her mom & her aunt decided to take a trip to the cemetery. As they were walking along my friend's aunt just froze,
she was stunned!! My friend's mom kept asking her what was wrong & all she could do was point to a tombstone. She was standing in front of the grave of James "Fat" Harris!! They could only assume that Fat Harris had
followed the little girl home from the cemetery & became her imaginary friend.
She couldn't read the headstone & nobody knew him. She'd never heard of him
before.

My co worker just told me this story. When his son was 5 yrs old he had an imaginary friend named spirit that used to come play with him everyday. Then 7 yrs later my co worker saw a little boy peeking over the couch at him, It was spirit!

They say that children are more open minded and dont dismiss strange things like adults do and thats why they see ghosts more than adults do. I have a cousin who has a son who is 3. He says that he sees people in the house when its just him and his dad there. I dont know if I believe it or not.

I did too...
When I was little I had 2 imaginary friends...but I couldn't tell you or not if they were ghosts.
One of my neices had an imaginary friend that lived in the mirror...

No, but when my daughter was a baby she would freak me out sometimes because it would seem like someone was playing with her and nobody was there. She would be looking up and giggling. My mom used to say she was talking to angels.

yes, many of my friends used to see ghosts when they are quite youngg but after that, they do not see it anymore. it is kinda freaky to know that ghosts befriends children.. scaryy..
