Some of you may be familiar with the old classic "Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions" by Edwin Abbott (if you aren't, you can read it at http://xahlee.org/flatland/index.html ). It's really quite good, and an excellent introduction to higher-dimensional thinking, but a lot of people have never heard of it. So what I want to know is: do you think Flatland would be more widely remembered if it had been called "Shapes on a plane"?

No matter what section you use you never find more worthless or useless questions than you do in Polls & Surveys.
(Exept maybe the Immigration section where they just beat the same topic to death over & over.

Why do they have to report you because your opinon differs with theirs? I am not racist, but I think it is complete bull that if someone makes a racist comment they get reported. Haven't you people ever heard of freedom of speech? Now I understand if some guy is trying to hook up with some 14 year old girl or something, but you shouldn't get reported for saying something sexual, sexist, racist or anything else.
