The wifey is quiet interested in listening to classical music and I really don't know anything about it. Where's a good place to start for a novice just wanting to get a taste of the good pieces. Help and opinions gratefully accepted.

Do you hate it when someone younger than you whips your butt at something that you've been doing your whole life?
Well, I'm a freshman and I play percussion. Percussion is drums. I got really good and all the high schools were requesting me.
Anyway, I had to audition today for a part in the band and I'm sure that I impressed or pissed of a few guys.
Would you hate me?

While dinning last night at very posh French restaurant with my latest "target" I allowed the waiter to select our meal. I looked at the menu but could not read a word on it. What does he bring us as an appetizer? SNAILS! He called it something like "cargo". Eating a SNAIL is supposed to whet my appetite? Not me. So what's next: Cockroach ala O'range? Toe Jam Flambe?
