uh no. these are just questions and answers! not all younger people or under 21ers ask offensive or whatever kind of questions you feel need not be asked here. If any thing we should answer questions as honestly and truthfully with a Little humor if you like, no-matter how offensive or rude or disgusting some questions are. encouraging young people or any aged person for that matter to ask questions, is a great thing to do. weather they asked on the net or not. its not like the advise given HAS to be taken. It's the parents job to monitor their children's Internet habits, and its the parents job to have confidence in the job their doing raising their child. we should not have to suffer because a few parents are afraid they might have to answer some of the questions their children might be asking on here.
I have too many passwords to remember anyway. If children or parents are looking for answers on here, then something is REALLY wrong with society. This is just a form of entertainment people! seek professional help. Get off the computer and develop a relationship with you children.

Your Idea of the younger crowd covers what age group?

You don't find it comforting that you can go to a place and find people consistently disproving the teachers statement of, " There is no such thing as a dumb question."

I think yahoo answers would lose some of its entertainment value.

Actually I think it is a good idea, however I feel Yahoo should separate the sites by age group ( one for younger users & and one password protected as you said for the adults) I think Q&A is a great forum but that we adults should be able to express how we feel the same as the adolecents but sepretly.

Too hard to prove it, They would just make new accounts saying that they were older.

It wouldn't matter. If a kid wanted on here bad enough, they would just lie about their age.
