Favorite band and favorite song...and tell me why?

There are too many I like equally much. Nirvana, RHCP, Oasis, Jane's Addiction, Hole, Sonic Youth, etc~ If you judge by number of albums I own, RHCP wins, with all 9 of their albums in my collection. If by what I listened most to today, that's Nirvana.
But my favorite song, right now, is Hey Joni by Sonic Youth. Because I can't stop singing HEY JONI PUT IT ALL BEHIND YOU.
