There's a spoken word "song" performed by Jimmy Dean, which is about the "singer's" mother, telling about all the things she has done for him, and how he fails to appreciate her. They play it on our local Country station (KSCS) every Mother's Day (or, maybe it's Christmas), and the DJ calls it the "best song about mothers ever written." Does anyone know what its title is, and where I can find it/buy it? (My mother just died, and I'd like to play it at her funeral.)

I heard this years ago.

A little bird was supposed to go south for the winter, but he didn't want to listen to his friends and family. Winter came, and it was so cold that his feathers were starting to freeze. In the distance, he sees a barn. Flies towards it and as soon as he got inside, his frozen body fell into a cowpie. This was disgusting, yes. BUT it felt all nice and warm. Shortly after, a cat picked up the little bird, cleaned it off with its paw, and swallows it.

MORAL:
Anyone that gets you into deep s*** isn't always your enemy, and anyone that gets you out of deep s*** isn't always your friend.

Almost as bad as the Doodlebops, Boobah could almost be considered worse because it's a PBS offering. What happened to the great educational shows they used to do? You know, Electric Company, Mr. Rogers Neighborhood... even Sesame Street is a shadow of what it once was.

But those Boobahs... they fart into existence at the beginning of every show, they look like scrotums, and they "spew" something out of the top of their heads while holding hands in a circle. What the heck is this garbage?

And oh yeah, my kids love that damn show.

Mildred was a 93-year-old woman, particularly despondent over the death of her husband, Earl. She decided she would just kill herself and join him in death.

Thinking that it would be best to get it over with quickly, she took out Earl's old Army pistol and made the decision to shoot herself in the heart, since it was so badly broken in the first place. Not wanting to miss the vital organ and become a vegetable and burden to someone, she called her doctor's office to inquire as to just exactly where the heart would be on a woman. The doctor said, "Your heart would be just below your left breast." Later that night Mildred was admitted to the hospital with a gunshot wound to her knee.

I heard a thing on my friend's ipod with Jimmy Fallon...and he was saying "every song from the eighties can be put to the music of mc hammers cant touch this" and then proceeded to sing it.....it was one of the funniest things I've ever heard...I can find the lyrics but I need to know the name of the CD it was on to find the song.
