One of my all time favorites is a sci-fi, romance novel called "dark Demon". If you like vampires, this is the novel for you. The author is known for using Carpathians and vampires in all her novels. The main female character is a vampire hunter, and a good one at that. The main male is a Carpathian. He's not yet a vampire, but he's still evil on her lists. Any way, the main girl (Natalya) is what is known as his lifemate. WEll she isn't particularly happy about. at least not for the first part of the novel. She begins to warm up to him as the novel goes on, but it is a really good book. Id reccomend you try it. A little sappy, but still a great read.

Anything by Sherrilyn Kenyon, well as long as you like paranormal romance because they are all about Vampires or Werewolves, but what can I say I had to find something after they cancelled Buffy and Angel

OK, throwing in a man's perspective here (thought I'd level the playing field). A couple of my favorites:

- Still Life with Woodpecker (more a romantic comedy?)
- Cyrano D'Bergerac

I'm a big fan of Lisa Kleypas books. Meg Cabot's romance novels are really good too.
