I'm rehoming a little sausage dog, and after a lot of though we decided if we were going to rename him, it might as well be something we choose, rather then just something like his old name.
so suggestions please!
we dont mind humour, i thought of frank (as in frankfurter!) or other languages
We already have a George, Sid and Cedric!
(we need to be able to shout after it, in public too)!!! lol

I used to have teachers that told me using "have been" is not the best way to go... for example the following sentence...

"Did you know that 80% of all VET visits are checkups and could have been done by a nurse's assistant?"

b/c of "are" I feel that no matter what this should read "could be"... but lets say "Are" was replaced with "were"...

... any thoughts will be helpful. Thanks

In the Past , it was believed that the word "Babylon " ( as in the city ) meant " Gateway of the Gods" , but it states that modern scholars don't agree with this term , so what is the actual meaning of the word Babylon ? and does anybody know why the old term was rejected ?

Do you think only blacks and minorities should use it and not whites or do you think nobody should use it? Do you think rap artists and their usage of the word promotes it?

Kanye West: Great rapper and I love all of his music but I do not agree with him or anyone using the "N" word. Tell me what you think! And this is a serious matter so please control all ignorance! Thank You

Just so YOU know where I stand on this, common usage today of an otherwise nice word, annoys me no end. Whenever I'm watching an old movie, for example, and there's a reference to GAY (happy), it jars on my nerves because I've been conditioned to think of the word in as denoting sexual preferences. There are lots of other examples in language(s), as well. Bastards!
