I'm rehoming a little sausage dog, and after a lot of though we decided if we were going to rename him, it might as well be something we choose, rather then just something like his old name.
so suggestions please!
we dont mind humour, i thought of frank (as in frankfurter!) or other languages
We already have a George, Sid and Cedric!
(we need to be able to shout after it, in public too)!!! lol

I don't know why you wouldn't stick with FRANK. That would be my choice because it fits in with the rest of your brood (George, Sid and Cedric). If you are intent on exploring other names here are a few to think about:

Call him a human name that will go with the other dogs names like Roger, or Jake. Or give him an old school name like Augustus (Gus,gussy)
