KOW is correct, and in spite of the deluge of junk email and Monty Python songs ( I like these), I still like Spam, Spam and cheese, Spam and eggs, baked Spam, roast Spam, Spam on toast, Spam sandwiches, Spam and Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam....

If you mean the meat, then it comes from SPiced hAM. The deluge of emails term comes from the Monty Python song where they sing the word Spam continuously.
