What would be the term of phrase explaining something along the lines of,
Don't judge someone else when you are worse than they are...

It seems like its , Don't call the kettle black... or something... Or whats an other "way of saying it" .

Wow this is hard to explain... A pun on Words, or term of Phrase, or Moral kind of... know what I mean?

a knot may be called a knot when it actually is not a knot and therefore since it is not a knot it can't truthfully be called a knot. So if it is not a knot, then when is it not a knot? And by the way, this is not something to be taken lightly.

im thinkin of a word that means "get carried away" i thought it was like tangents or tantrums.
like im trying to use it to describe my english teacher. She would start out talking about one subject. then find a topic thats vaguely related to it and talk about it for 5 minutes. and then after that shed find an even more off task topic and talk about it for like 3 minutes. then that discussion would lead to another topic and shed just go way off task and talk about random topics with no relevance to the topic we started with.
whats that called when u do that?
