From experience, the answer is "D".

Like "B" indicates, no two (2) writers work in the same way, so, therefore, there are no exact steps to follow in a set sequence. "C" can take place at anyplace along the process of writing - immediately after completing a section, after a page is completed, after a chapter is completed, etc. No writer, good, bad or indifferent, will have free flow of thoughts at all times. They will eventually reach "writer's block" or burnout & need to be replenished/refreshed. Therefore, "A", while not true to all writers at all times, is applicable to some writers at different times of their careers.

probably D... some people can think better backwards. I always write the middle of my papers first b/c that is usually the most boring part. Then I write a strong start and an ending you will remember.

I think it would be D....we don't necessarily have a certain order of writing..we just write what flows and maybe proofread as we go along...Some of us make outlines, some of us don't. Some brainstorm and follow strict order, others do not:). Hope this helps!

A. If it requires a lot of effort, then they aren't good writers. It should just flow from within. (with a hangup now and then)
