The first o is pronounced more like the oo in good or foot than like any other vowel sound I can think of. The s is voiced so it sounds like it should be spelled with a z. It looks sort of like possum but it doesn't sound like possum

The rhymezone.com rhyming dictionary says "There are no perfect rhymes" and suggests looking for things keying on the "som" sound, like blossom and ransom (plus a pile of essentially worthless choices).

One practical thing is to nest some non-rhyming lines among rhyming ones. The rhyming lines carry the rhyming sense, supporting the others.

The baby's hair was dark
As I held her to my bossom
Peeking out a small birth mark
From the curls and tresses
Walking through a park
Melting away life's stresses

(I know, its not good, but you get the idea)
