Okay, so I had half a sandwich that I offered to my boyfriend. He hesitated, but said he'd eat it. As a joke, I acted like I was going to give it to my dog, and my boyfriend didn't "try to stop me." I kept saying "You didn't even..." but I couldn't think of the word. I think there's one word that means the same as my boyfriend trying to stop me from feeding it to my dog. I know this is a dumb question, but it's driving me crazy! The more I think about it, the more I realize that there probably isn't a word anyway. You'd probably just say that he didn't try to stop me. Anyway, thanks a lot!

Why is it ok that black people can say ***** to each other but we can't?

So they can hate each other but we can't hate them? Or we can't mean something good, nice, friendly and sympathetic just because we're not their skin color? Doesn't that make THEM racist?

And how do we know people AREN'T racist or discriminatory even if they use the RIGHT word? We can't read somebody's mind, but we can try to figure from context what they mean, shouldn't what they mean be what matters, instead of the word? ("S***" is a bad word, but people say "thats the s***" for something good)
