I'm part of the play Bye Bye Birdie at my school this month. There are a couple words that I can't figure out what they mean and they are key to understanding the play.
The two of them are:
loop-the-loop
and getting penned/pinned
that's the way we pronounce the words, i'm not too sure about correct spelling.
If you need the way the word is used....
loop-the-loop is considered a horrible thing in the play, along the lines of a "moonlight swim" and "motorboat races"
pinned is used when the boy hugo does this to kim macafee, and the small town teenagers go nuts about it

thank you soo much!

My brother is always accusing me of something, but he always says "I can't believe you did that". Now that's just stupid, right? I reckon that in two thousand years, if people try and translate some of today's written and spoken word (like from movies), they won't have a clue what we really mean. Maybe that's why the Bible makes so little sense.
