My brother is always accusing me of something, but he always says "I can't believe you did that". Now that's just stupid, right? I reckon that in two thousand years, if people try and translate some of today's written and spoken word (like from movies), they won't have a clue what we really mean. Maybe that's why the Bible makes so little sense.

i have no idea why they say that. To be frank, i've never heard anyone say "i can't believe it" Good question though. people say stuff when they mean the opposite all the time.

BTW, the bible does make sense, to me that is. perhaps your language skills aren't good enough to understand it.

You are lucky.i had a teacher who would constantly say "this is that ,that is this is" at the end of every sentence.
For eg 2+2=4 this is that that is this is.Understood.
Now what sense would u ake out of this.
