I learned in school that "alright" is incorrect and "all right" is correct. Is this true, or are my teachers full of crap? "Alright" is in the dictionary and there's nothing there stating that it is slang/used incorrectly. It just says that it is informal.

I usually type out "all right", but I am just curious.
Can anyone tell me if "alright" is really not a word?
Is it okay to use if someone was to, say, write a novel?

Is "most stupid" a correct combination of words?

Shouldn't it be "stupidest"

As in: That is the stupidest thing I have ever seen.
As opposed to: That is the most stupid thing I have ever seen.

Which one is correct?

If you answer no it means yes
If you answer yes the question would take it as no, but that is only if you use the extreme opposites
what would be a good answer
I thought of maybe, or sometimes, what do you think?
