A father took his son to hospital for emergency treatment after an accident. The doctor greeted them,
but on seeing the boy, exclaimed, "I can't operate on him - he's my son!" How can this be?
(The son was not adopted, nor a step-son.)

I need a new word or phrase to say. Preferrably stupid and pointless, it doesnt even need to make sense. I just need soemthing new. I just like to see my friends start saying it. I use to say "cry?" to people when they complained about soemthing. Then id say like "you're cool I wish I was you're friend" when soemone would boast about themselves. The I started saying "whatev" form the damn milky way commercial. So just throw out soem ideas!

Hello, English is not my mother language though I am good in it.

However, I am in a bad need to know the English term that describs this.
"You know when some products are very essential to citizens in a country (like oil for example) the country controls the prices of such products and sometimes they sell those products with less than its actual costs".

Can you tell me what do you name:
1. Pdoucts that their prices are controlled by the governement?
2. products that governments sometimes have to sell it with less than the actual price (less than their costs).
3. What is the word "subsidized" means? is it to refer to point number 2. like to say "subsidized products"?

Thnx in advance
Hossam

Being a newcomer to this Yahoo answer game, but am an avid emailer & texter, does anyone nowadays know how to write proper English? "Your" instead of "You're" , "To" instead of "Too" , "Weather" instead of "Whether" are just 3 of basic grammatical no-brainer mistakes that I see far too often in these type of web pages, emails from friends etc. It's got to stop for the sake of all mankind as we know it!! There's even a spell checker that can be used, but no one can be bothered. I am not a teacher, or a writer. Just a baldyoldgit with a bee in his bonnet. Now why don't you all just f-f-f-f-fade away.......talkin' about my generation. The Who, 1960something, Isle of Wight, LSD & flower people. Now that's my bag man. Nurse, I think it's time for my labotomy.Pass me the screwdriver quick. TTFN playmates.
