There are a lot of different ways to say Stupid in French.

Stupide, con, connard, imbeciel, idiot....

Phoque means really seal so I don`t see what`s the point.

stupide, idiot, con, connard. Foque I 've never heard of, phoque means seal (the animal), if that helps.
