The problem with answering your question is the way you phrase it. The correct answer to "what is 4+4" is that 4+4 is an equation.
If you want to know the sum of 4+4, it is 8, unless you're using a different number base than 10.
In truth, I think you're just trying to game the system and give yourself a "best answer" bonus on another one of your screen names, and have reported you as doing so.
