Ok, i need help with this puzzle(s).
The word first is the work I need, it has some letters in it, but some are missing. I'll give clues into what the word is in parenthesis. the FIRST word I put in will be the clue for the MISSING WORD IN THE BLANKS!! And the second clue with be the clue for the WHOLE word.

Word: AVA_ _ _ _/Missing word clue: Popular asian grain/WHOLE word clue: Greed/ EXAMPLE( i need this 1): AVA_ _ _ _(Popular asian grain, Greed)

_ _ _ _ _TH (Basic Food, Width)
ST_ _ _ _ (Cereal crop, Fierce animals)
PER_ _ _ _E (Flesh, To soak through)
IM _ _ _ _ _ (A juicy fruit, To assuse someone)
OK, THAT'S THE END OF THE FIRST ONE

Now this one,
I need the answers to these questions,
1.) Earliest kind of piano (H_ _P_ _ _ _ _ _ _)
2.) Woodwind instrument used in the Middle Ages (600 AD to 1500 AD) (S_ _ _ _ _ _)
3.)Ancient Greek harp (L_R_)
The Alpen(_ _ _ _) is a long, curved wooden instrument used by herders in the Swiss Alps for signaling.

Thanks for those who can help me

Why do so many people that are using this thing not use the spell check??? It tells you right there in FRONT of you, DUHH???? Drives me nuts. It's like the pool says 3 feet and someone does a swan dive. HuH?!! Now that I have re-read this thing that I wrote, it makes spelling look like a last name in Hollywood. Oh well.
