I got a 215 this year as a junior, and I would like to know the cutoff score for texas. I think this score is at least at the level of national commended and national hispanic.

I am currently in 10th grade. I began studying in the US at the second semester of 7th grade. I would like to know if I'm supposed to take the TOEFL in order to later apply for a university, or simply take the SAT and forget TOEFL ?

By the way - I have good grades in English and I believe that I'm proficient.

I really want an indepth analysis on this question. some times i hear people saying 1200 is a good score, but the new SAT is out of 2400. I took my SAT this past november and i wasn't so proud of my score... 1540 out of a 2400. This isn't cutting it for me and the univerities I want to try and get into, so what can i do to improve my score, especially in math since I have not had math for over a year and won't take Trigonometry until this summer. Do those SAT Official Guidebook work? What else can I do?

710 on the critical reading
650 on the math
620 on the writing

I realize there're various other factors that play a part in the process, but, generally speaking, would I have a shot at any Ivy Leagues for undergrad with these SAT scores. I only took the test once, unfortunately I didn't get a chance to takem again.
