i got a 165, which put me in the 76th percentile, is this good or should i be really worried? (i didnt study for the PSAT, obviously i will study for the SAT)

thats very good...i only got a133...the scale score is 60-240...so 175 is very good...the average score is 147..but my counselor said this isn't necessarily the best measure of intelligence..but anyway you did good, and you should be proud of it..my friends gets straight a's and he only got 153..so you did very well...

The average PSAT score is about 147 (about 49 in each section), so your score is... okay. You get an award if you can get over about a 202. If you can get above a 204-222 (varies by state), you are entered into a scholarship competition.

240 is the highest possible score on the PSAT. Your score, indicating you are in the 76th percentile, means that you received a higher score than 76% of the people who took the PSAT. Anything indicating you did better than half of them would be great. Congratulations.

There really is no good PSAT score. It all depends on what future college you want to go to. If you're aiming for the ivy leagues, you should get around 200 on the SAT. But, this is just the PSAT, nothing to worry about. =] Good luck!

i got a 710 on my PSAT and now I have two degrees. Don't sweat keep working hard and you'll get the score you need to get into the school you want and scholarships.

I am ancient and when I took it the highest score was 1600, which I got 1300 so I felt that was okay. Now they score it differently I am not sure how mine would translate because I only took it once and it was in my Junior year of high school.
