You have a pretty low chance of getting in, unless your application is otherwised polished. I'm just going to be honest, most ivy league hitters are going to be hitting the 2100 mark. Also, if you want any sort of large scholarship to help pay for that outrageous tuition, you'll want to break 2200.
How are your grades and extra-cirric? If they are outstanding I would suggest applying, because you will have a good shot. Otherwise you'd need angels up your butt to get in; there are just too many other people with better scores.

those scores won't shop you out, yet they particularly won't make you stand out for a remarkable college the two. all people using has the optimal grades interior the toughest training and intensely extreme attempt scores. you go with for lots greater desirable than that to have a shot at those faculties. You did no longer point out something you probably did to truly get in touch on your destiny substantial besides some college training. on an identical time as those are good, they do no longer likely show faculties what you're prepared approximately, or any innate expertise or creativity in those fields. you have have been given approximately an conventional shot on the remarkable faculties, and that's no longer tremendous. did you already know a million/2 the scholars who get into CalTech each 12 months have already completed unique learn with a school professor on an identical time as in extreme college? that's the form of ingredient you're up against.

Your chances are okay - not too high...I believe that the first thing that they look at is your SAT scores and if they are way too low, then they won't even look at the rest of the information, but because your results aren't too low, they will also consider your list of extra curricular activities as well and your academic record, so if those two are strong factors of your application, you should still keep your hopes up. Good luck! = )

All i have to say is WOW! i took my SAT for the first time (but for sure it will not be the only) and i got a 1540 out of 2400, so compared to me, u did an amazing job. But yeah, just try to stay involved as much as u can in highschool, take as many AP and honors classes available and do a hell of a good job on ur essay and letters of recommendations.

I hate to say it but pretty low, I have 250 points higher than that and its a stretch for me to get in with a 4.5 gpa in a highly regarded school. Unless your family is alumni or has alot of money, Ivy league is near impossible

A small chance, but not impossible. The SAT is simply a threshold you must cross. Your extracurriculars and courseload matter much more.

If you're a minority with good grades, you have a good chance. Otherwise, you better be a sports star or something.
