this time of year has been the worst time I've had to take an exam!

I hate the exams. I did my grade five in the summer and my fingers all went wobbly. Finding the grade six work tough as well.

I'm currently in grade 4. I haven't played the piano, taken lessons, or exams in months. I went inactive for a long time because I was so busy with school. From my experience with the exams, they ARE VERY STRESSFUL. I hate the aural tests. Sight reading is okay for me, not that hard. But it's the aural testing that ticks me off all the time. I usually don't have time anymore to play the piano everyday after school because I have so much other stuff to do. Glad to hear you passed! Good luck in grade 6 and beyond!

Which piano exam did you take? There are several piano exams out there, from state piano teacher assoication to the ABRSM from Britain.

Good job and keep up the good work.

Oh - I take the exams in Spring. They're okay...I just practice a lot and tell myself that it is only a test, not a competition...
