I'm writing an essay, and I need a quote about fighting unfairness with words, even though the consequences of fighting with words may be just as bad. Something along the lines of "The Pen is mightier than the Sword." But I want to use something a bit different. (But, just in case, if you know, who said the Pen quote?)

I'm dumb myself, but i want to ask, how do you interpret quotes? A quote I find hard interpreting is "Literature is the question minus the answer" I’m not asking anyone actually interpret the quote, but how do you interpret quotes? I’m bad at English (and I’m Not esl.. O..0) so, what are your skills in interpreting quotes?

I'm thinking Frantz Fanon. My quotation isn't exactly verbatim by the way. I need the quote and citation for a part of my thesis, and looking for these little tidbits in piles and piles of primary sources drives me insane. I hope you can help! :D

Something like "He whose only things to boast of are his ancestors, his only things are underground?" but much more eloquently? It basically meant "If all you've got is your famous predecessors, you've got nothing."

Do you know of any quotes that rhyme? When I websearch looking for said quotes, I receive quotes *about* rhyming. However, I am in need of quotes that *do* rhyme.

Headache and excess stress is hindering my search, methinks.

Any help? And soon? Would be soooo appreciated. =)
