My 4-year old son's PA kindergarden teacher actually told him right at his face that his colouring is ugly. (He has tried to colour them all by himself) His teacher even restrict him from using colours like Black and White which is his favourite colour.

How should I put the message acorss to the teacher that she is too much as she should know that for a child who is 4 years old he will be very hurt and discourage?

Hello, I am attending an Early Childhood Program at my local community college and for a school assignment I have some questions that I need to ask an early childhood professional. Any profession that deals with children from birth through eight years old. If you decide to answer these questions for me if you wouldn't mind, please give me your first name and the place that you work. The questions I am asking are the following:
1. What problems do you face with the children in your program as a result of divorce?
2. What problems do you face with suspected abuse?
3. What do you as a professional do to help parents and children with these types of problems?

If anyone can please help me with these questions it would be greatly appreciated. The answers to these questions will help me in completing my early childhood education class.

I need to find a way to purchase educational items for about 20 children. Any ideas on where or what I should buy for these children? I'm on a 120.00 budget. This is for underprivlaged families. The kids are between 3 and 5 years of age.
All ideas are welcome in terms of what to buy the children or where to get them from.

this is the way that i see it... my baby is 9 months old.. and i am paying $600 a month for child care.. just a regular daycare.. but i have found out that there is a private academy school that will start kids at 2 years old at $575 a month.. and they actually teach the kids instead of just feeding them and watching them run around.. they do everything that they do in preschool and give them breakfest, lunch and dinner, and also give them activities to do at home with there parents.. now i think this is great... her son is 4 years old and knows how to spell his name and can count to 125 by himself.. i think that is awesome.. but some people are against this.. why is that? i believe that children should get all the learning they can at 2 and 3 years old.. that is the most crucial time for them.. and it will help them when they get to preschool and beyond. so what does everyone else think?

I currently have a child with speech problems that is very violent. He understands that what he is doing is wrong because he either hides or covers his ears. The problem is in hitting other children and respecting authority. The hitting ranges to mild from violent and he throws amazing tantrums when reprimanded. The child age 4, comes from a divorced family and lives with his newly wed father. He's knows of the problem but the conduct persists, what can be done?
