Reading is fundamental:

Playhouse Disney is awsome for the little ones!

there are lots of good ideas here. I laugh at all the people on the internet who say you shouldn't let your 4 year old play on the internet! Of course she's gonna want to do the things you do, and that includes computer time. There is NOTHING wrong w/ computer time. Even preschools that can afford it have computer games for kids to play.

PBSkids.org is awsome. Kids can play games and you will get a warning if you click on anything that would take you off the PBSkids site. Plus, there are parents/teachers pages for all the shows your kids love on PBS, including activies you can do offline, and the reasoning behind how the shows are developed and what they are meant to accomplish.

Do a web search for your child's favorites- toys, tv shows, tv line-ups or channels (Playhouse Disney, Barbie, Magic School Bus, ect) and look on the boxes there toys and even breakfast cerial comes in. I found the majority of the games my son plays just by looking up the websites of the networks that he enjoys- Cartoon Network, Nick.com, NickJr.com, PBSkids.org, Fox Kids/ABC Family, Disney Channel, Toon Disney, Jetix, ect. A lot of times, you'll find that a show has a site of it's own AND a spot on the network site. So search Disney AND Toy Story and see what turns up!

Good luck.

Get her a Webkin (10.00), then log in to webkinz.com and register the number of the animal on the site. She can then feed and play with her animal on line. it's very educational. There is a meter to show if the animal is hungry, happy, healthy. She will have to give it healthy snacks, play with it, see that it gets exercise and even take it to the doctor. She has to spend points to buy the things the animal needs. To earn the points, she can go to work by getting a job or playing games to earn points. She can build and decorate rooms for it to live in. She can then add other kids ot her friend list and they can play together online if they can't have an inperson play date. It is good for her age and up.

while i became in kindergarden we used to play this interest for a halloween social gathering you have 4 nook's in a room so which you get 4 bit's of paper and say one became a ghost 2 became a canines 3 became a cat and four became a cow you may stick the photograph's in each nook and while the music play's they dance then while it stops all of them run to a nook of their determination and then somebody in fee (an grownup) might say between the animal's and everybody in that croner could be out.

Some sites that I would recomend would be www.treehousetv.com, www.pbskidsgo.org, www.fisher-price.com. Try these sites and see if she will enjoy them. My 4 year old really finds them easy enough to understand, and she likes them.

This is a gaming place fer children its really fun but you have to play daily. If you decide to go there, there is this tour thing that you should take. Its not as confusing as it sounds.
