My computer & my cat draw my attention. I struggle to make time for studying, but finals are coming up. Any good study tips?
Don't say to get a study partner; we are all too far from each other to make that a reality.

Ok I think its something like this -
A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
D = 1
F = 0

You add them all up and then divide by 7 but then I heard there was different for like B+ or B-.
So here are my grades..
82% ~ B-
93% ~ A-
95% ~ A
100% ~ A
84% ~ B
81% ~ B-
100% ~ A

so like what do you do for + and - ??

Thanks :)

I love England and it is my dream to study at Oxford or Glasgow. Unfortunately, for some reason my parents as well as all my friends say it is almost impossible to get there for a non-EU student asking for financial aid. It is really a wonder I haven't dropped my hope yet, but as it gets closer to graduation I become more and more anxious... Is it really true there is no chance for a non-EU student to attend?

If hotter air rises, why is air that is closer to the Earth's surface warmer than the air high above it? It was a question that I had to do. Anyone know it?

I will try to describe this one.. my nana gave me a pair of lamps and i often have guests over that admire these lamps and they ask questions about them only i have no answers so heres wh@ they look like... A man statue standing sideways holding a sword in what appears to be some sort of costume he has a mustache and beard and a hat. If this helps at all my grandmother had a theme for each room in her home of vintage furniture, as well as victorian, mostly 20th century and 19th century i just want to know the name of the statue so i can research some knowledge about it.

I have some really big exams coming up and have to study for Math, English, Science, Geography and History all in a month. I was wondering if anybody had any tips on how to create a study plan, websites that could help or any other kind of study tips. I am one of those people that can learn in nearly every way well but I am more an auditory learner. Please help!

First off, it's obviously hard to keep their attention since they're interested doing in their own thing. I don't feel that they have disrespect for me; they're just out of control. (The age group, by the way, is kindergarten-3rd grade.)
I clearly explained to them that whoever follows my instructions well in class will be rewarded at the end (stickers, erasers, etc.). If they don't follow instructions, they will not receive a reward. A couple have responded well to this and do follow my instructions. Today I had two kids that had tantrums because they didn't get prizes. I told them next time they might if they follow instructions better.
And lastly, there's a kid who's generally a trouble-maker; puts others down, wants to do things their way, etc. (one of the ones who threw a tantrum), who I'm generally having trouble dealing with.
Any advice?

For me History comes easy to me. I'll never have to study for a test because I'll already know everything, and I can memorize a map really fast. Yet, memorizing passages or SAT words come really hard for me. It takes me a long time to finally get it down, and I forget it easily.

At the moment, I have a dead end job, and would like to improve my horizons by taking a computer course, with a view to becoming a computer technician, working at an IT help desk, or something similar.

I want to do home study, because I'm not in a position to be able to give up work, but I don't want to waste my time and money doing a Micky Mouse course that won't be recognised by employers, or offer any credibility.

What courses would be the best ones to take, that I can do as home study?

Thanks for any help. :)
