Why do so many people on this site have such poor verbal and communication skills?

Healthy people don't need a doctor. We should hardly be surprised if we found sick people at the doctor's office.

Autonomous learners don't need homework help. We should hardly be surprised if we find people with poor verbal and communication skills looking for help in Y!A.

I'm always disappointed when I find an answer that bawls out the asker rather than trying to give help. Isn't that the purpose of this site?

I've wondered that myself. Maybe they are just typing too fast?
