Ok I think its something like this -
A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
D = 1
F = 0

You add them all up and then divide by 7 but then I heard there was different for like B+ or B-.
So here are my grades..
82% ~ B-
93% ~ A-
95% ~ A
100% ~ A
84% ~ B
81% ~ B-
100% ~ A

so like what do you do for + and - ??

Thanks :)

hi. im zakky. you were right. as long as you know and add the individual percentages your good. so i took the liberty of doping it for you and right now you have a 90.7 gpa. depending on what grading scale your school uses...thats either a high B or barely an A. but very good all the same. congrats.

If you are in high school (or junior high) you don't need to worry about the +'s and -'s - you just do as you said by adding all the percentages and dividing by 7. If you are in college, you need to do a weighted average, by muliplying each percent by the number of credits, then adding them all together, and divide by the total number of credits. Hope this helps. Btw - good job! Keep up the good grades : )

If all of your courses were for the same credit hours, your GPA is 3.44.

You have to do a weighted average if the courses have different credit hours. Basically, just multiply the credit hour by the grade. Then, take the sum of all of this and divide it by the sum of all the credit hours.

Also, here is the breakdown for the +/-.
A=4
A- = 3.7
B+ = 3.3
B = 3
B- = 2.7
C+ = 2.3
C = 2
C- = 1.7
D+ = 1.3
D = 1

If you're talking about weighted gpa or not (depending if you had honors or AP classes), you add up points for As and divide by how many classes you had. The percentages don't really go into an average when you're on the 4-pt. system.

B- = 3
A- = 4
A = 4
A = 4
B = 3
B- = 3

theirs no difference with + or - like B - is still a B

It kinda depends though, like if your in honors or not, you get higher grade points. But like this, you just add them together and divide by how many there are.

no. you add up all your numbers... so yours is roughly 90.7 so your GPA would be about a 3.7. or 3.8 you have an A but its barly there and a 4.0 is perfect.
